Small Talk

Thirty-three-year old Patrick Small is travelling by train to Paris to meet his mother. It becomes a journey through the past, an account of a dramatic life in many countries, with and without his family, in and out of institutions. It is a life of ups and downs, including petty theft, drugs and alcoholism. Small tells his story in nervous, fragmented language.
